today i took a ME day... i skipped working out ( i know i know ) and i laid on the couch ALL day except for when i got up to take some random pics of things around the house... mainly Miss K's things she leaves around the house haha - you know the other day i was reading one of those blog post where they interview photographers...? well they asked the photog what her home said about her. So I instantly put myself in that situation 1. because it would be totally awesome to be recognized as a photographer and inspire others and 2. it would be even more awesome to be asked for an interview.... and like I said, I asked myself that question and the only thing I could think of was "my daughter" hahahaha - our walls are covered in my child's artwork, I literally have more art on the walls than I do photos and I am a photographer! I find randoms all over the house in every nook and cranny and i absolutely ♥ it! I am not really one of those moms who spazzes out about toys and such on the floor or in the living room, now my husband... he would follow us both around with a shop vac if he had the time lol! Between my thread and fabric scraps and K's paint/paper and crayons, I am sure he is bound to go crazy in a matter of a few short years....
so yes.... Tom ( the hubbs ) complains that I am a project starter and not a project finisher... I admit, I have issues... I start things and move on to the next project before the other is done, I cannot help it because I have so many ideas and too much on my mind - SUE ME! Have you read one of the "If you give a mouse a cookie" books? Well I am going to use that here... If you give a girl a mother who constantly picks up new projects and does not finish the ones she starts, CHANCES ARE.... you will get a girl who DOES THE SAME THING!
This is what I found laying around the house.... proof that my daughter is more like me than I think
*she started playing the card games yesterday... we did not finish one game before we had to move on to the next one....*
BUT I ADORE HER QUIRKS!
Today after school I was just snapping away while she was swinging on the corners of the couch ( yes i let her do that... don't tell Tom! )
then we decided it was time for a DANCE BREAK... this is what you get when you hit the self timer on accident... a fuzzy picture and a unsuspecting mom!
*and yes.... that cabinet in the background was once finished - it is now not... i decided i did not like the way i finished it, i am thinking i may completely redo it and put in K's room*
But back to my busy day right....? This was lunch YUM ( TAKE THAT PANERA BREAD! )
just like this thread has somehow attached itself to my pin cushion... this is pretty much what my daily attire is covered in...
oh yes... i forgot to add a picture of Samantha - K's pet ladybug who is doing quite well surprisingly - going on day 5 in the bubble!
