the new living room/adjustments

*please excuse our mess, still cleaning up*

so i was correct! the living area is much much brighter with the lighter paint ( of course it could have been the sun bouncing off the snow outside ) and the chalkboard wall did not diminish any of the light! i even moved around my furniture and it looks so much bigger - i don't know why i did not move it that way before?

i also added a new way to display photos in the living room - i got the idea from here

and for right now i just have plain little wood clothespins and some old random pics from my photo box. i would love to do the Polaroids but i don't have a Polaroid camera but i will be updating those pics soon hopefully with pics of family and friends that have come to visit ( so if you come to visit be prepared to have your photo taken! ) i also plan on adding a second wire below.

DIY: super easy to do!

What you need:

• picture hanging wire * i bought some with a coating around it and i would not suggest using this kind, it was very hard to bend! * ( 2.00 at walmart )
• two screw eyes ( .98 at walmart )
• clips to use for hanging ( wood clips at walmart for 1.50 )
• pictures!

see how super easy that is? i am sure i do not need to explain how to hang right?
