sunny day/miss savvy

i tell ya what! lately we have had the most gorgeous weather! perfect temps and the breeze blowing at just the right times ... the other day i went outside with lynsey and miss savvy to enjoy the sun on our skin and i just had to grab my camera because savannah was having the best time with their hens. she even told me what the hens say, which i cannot even express how adorable it sounded in type! those hens ate pretty good that day because she was spreading chicken feed all over the yard ( and a little in her mouth ). i was getting a kick out of how they were tickling her when they would peck at her dress. i just think it is so wonderful that she will have these memories when she is older. makes me want to go grab myself some hens for kensey!

I Had A Little Hen

I had a little hen,

The prettiest ever seen.

She washed me the dishes,

And kept the house clean.

She went to the mill,

To fetch me some flour.

She brought it home,

In less than an hour.

She baked me my bread,

She brewed me my ale.

She sat by the fire,

And told many a tale.
