laundry day/caught ya!

* i just noticed she is making the same exact face as the boy on the front cover!*

i think that k's most hated day of the week is wednesday... simply because it is laundry day. she typically does not have homework on wednesdays so i have designated that the day she puts her clean laundry away. you would have thought i had asked her to shave her head! she takes her time getting out of the car when we arrive home from school... takes about half an hour to eat her after school snack and then disappears!

today i was outside cleaning up some of the debris that had flown into our backyard and i come inside to find her curled up on the window seat reading a book... i already had my camera because i was taking shots of the 'pre spring' foliage peeking through the ground so when i said every so quietly....'kenseyyyyyyyyyy' i caught this look!

well mr. o'malley is starting to come around... well not really but he has found a really great 'hang out' spot where our kitty cannot bother him ( i think she really wants to make friends but does not know how ).
