busy busy ll weekend

Well... let me just start off by saying this weekend has been a BUSY one! On Saturday we were out grocery shopping ( I saved 10.00 with coupons on organics/vegan products! ) and K started complaining about her tummy. For those of you who did not follow my old blog, K has genetic Pancreatitis and has an attack every so often. So when she complains of tummy ache our first reaction is to take her to the ER, it could be an attack or not ( 12 times out of 15 it has been an attack ). So we rushed her over to Children's and spent over 6 hours in the ER. With plenty of prayers and support from family and friends, K's levels came back normal and she was not having an attack at all!!! YAY!!! PRAISE GOD! Turns out it was just a tummy ache! Go figure?!

So back to normal, rest on Sunday ( missed church so I get to catch up online... you can too! That Church online ) and got to go to Savvy's bday party! K was so upset when she thought she would not feel better in time but we made it!
Today we went to go eat at our favorite, Jason's Deli. They offer organic PB&J and apples so K gets to "eat out" too! Then Tom and K had a "date" at the movies while I got to go shopping for fabric! You would have thought it was Black Friday the way people were acting out today! The roads were crowded and I waited over 20 min. to have 2 yards cut at Joann's and 10 min. just to check out! But the fabric was divine and I have been searching for the perfect print for pillows to go on my bed for years now! I saved 40% too!
After, I picked the kiddo and the hubs up and we headed over to Toys R Us to get K some organic treats and then back home for some dinner ( Gardein "Chicken" Nuggets and Alexia Sweet Potato Fries ) and a little AFV ( America's Funniest Videos ), K's favorite show ever!
I wanted to post a few pics of Savvy's Bday present that I made, it turned out super cute! It is a little tag-a-long for crayola's and papers. I have yet to make one for my own child! I also made one for my cousin's little boy for Christmas, so I will post a pic of that too! They both turned out differently but nothing I make ever turns out exactly the same... where would the fun in that be?
